"The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth" Psalm 145:18
Many of you have heard the recent news about all the unrest in Haiti. We wanted to give you an update on our churches and schools. This is a report from Pastor Renes Deciere of AFCA church in Port au Prince.
The schools in Port au Prince and Archaie are closed. AFCA School is working online. Silo school is planning to send home work for children next week. The schools in Marbiale (Jacmel) are open..
AFCA had worship service last Sunday but no church service this week. The office at AFCA is opened. We work with a small staff but not all of them are able to come in.
There is a lot of confusion regarding the political situation. Presently Haiti does not have a President. The Prime Minister, Ariel Henry is in Puerto Rico. Gang violence continues to interrupt daily life in Port-au-Prince and the surrounding areas.
We need lot prayers for our staff and ministries in Haiti..
Despite all these reports of violence and unrest, we also want you to be encouraged. We heard from a church in area of Jacmel. They had a graduation program on Sunday for 16 students who completed a 2 year Bible training program for pastors.
Join us for praying for the cause of Christ in Haiti.
