AFCA Baptist Church Celebrates 13th Anniversary
On October 23, 2011, AFCA Baptist Church, Port au Prince, Haiti, celebrated its 13th anniversary. Dr. Claude Noel, Director for Haiti, was preacher of the day. Dr. Noel, along with his wife Lydie, were founders of AFCA Village and had planted the church with Rev. Renes Deciere as its first pastor.
The congregation contributed over $2,000 US at the service for the finishing of the building. Pastor Renes said, "They are happy to see the construction arrive at this point, and expect that the church building will be ending in 2012, and be ready for the dedication." He added, "I would like to thank The PWH Board members for their financial support to the celebration activities."
